TEHRAN - Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei agreed on Thursday to pardon and commute the sentences of 761 prisoners. 

 

Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani had previously made a proposal to give amnesty to a number of inmates on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (S) and the 33rd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of 1979.
